Mobi IS cool and look forward to its return to the AppStore. It was banned for a year cause the developer neglected to remove the ability to add comics via USB (I didn’t even know it could). With iTunes now offering USB file loading many apps, such as Stanza, had to remove their version of the feature.

I do appreciate the tips and suggestions on this cool site. My favorite readers may not be your thing and vice versa. I think we all can agree that digital comic books are cool!!

ComicZeal is well liked, I know, but I would
never use it becaus. It converts cbrs to a lossy proprietary format. With the power of iPhone 4, 3gs, and iPad there is no reason for this. On iPad the free CloudReaders is a awesome reader for cbr, cbz, and PDF. It is from the developer who was the chief architect of windows 5 and IE. For iPhone Im still happy with the AppStore iComic app.

Check out MeeeeP which is a very good CBR CBZ PDF comic reader with crisp display and intuitive/responsive controls (+also free!); hadnt heard of Fileaid before so will also give that a try

thx Kollette, between dropbox and fileaid, it should be easy peezy to have a pool of comics and pull to phone to view as needed. sweet!

Hi, what i tried is:

I changed the CBR file to RAR, then i unzipped all the jpeg files to lets says Batman 404.
Using PrimoPdf i printed all the pictures into 1 Batman 404 PDF.
Then using Fileapp (http://www.digidna.net/products/fileapp) uploaded the pdf to the iphone. The comic is easier to read.

I love ComicBookLover for the Mac! It has the best interface of all the comic readers out there. I would try the iPhone version, but I don’t have wifi to manage the transfers, and I usually dont have access to my Mac.
